Tradesmen International is immediately hiringskilled Journeyman Carpentersfor projects located in and around Atlanta, GA. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $30/hour based on experience & skill level. If you are a Carpenter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

• Construct, erect, install, & repair structures & fixtures of wood, plywood, metal studs, & drywall
• Install foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, & roofs using materials such as wood, steel, meal, concrete, plastics, etc.
• Fit & install window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior& exterior trim, etc.
• Study specification in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare projectlayout & determine dimensions & materials required
• Shape or cut materialsto specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws
• Follow established safety rules & regulations
• Maintain a cleanand safe work environment
• Build or repair cabinets, doors framework,s, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in building
• Use woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools
• Assemble & fasten materials to make frameworks or props
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• 4+Years of Experiencein Commercial Carpentry
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics
• Strong working knowledge of job site safety
• Must pass a Drug Screen
