Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years of experience operating carousel machinery in manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to industrial machinery.
• Ability to lift and handle materials in a physically demanding environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the carousel machinery according to established procedures.
• Monitor the movement of materials and products within the carousel system.
• Load and unload materials onto the carousel, ensuring proper placement and balance.
• Organize materials efficiently to optimize the carousel's capacity.
• Conduct visual inspections of materials to ensure quality standards.
• Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
• Perform routine maintenance on the carousel machinery, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the carousel.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
• Coordinate with material handlers and production planners.
• Ensure the efficient movement of materials and meet production targets.
• Maintain accurate records of materials loaded onto the carousel and their destinations.
• Complete production reports and documentation as required.
• Assist in training new team members on carousel operation and safety procedures.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement in carousel operations.
