Job summary

OFS in Archdale, NC is seeking Sewing Specialists to produce our seating line with on-the-job training and growth opportunities. You'll operate industrial sewing machines, inspect products for defects, and help maintain equipment to meet quality standards.

Strong hand-eye coordination and teamwork are essential for thriving in a fast-paced environment. Experience with upholstery fabrics and pattern reading is preferred, and a training program is available for those starting out in sewing.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sewing Machine Operator.
• Able to read and interpret sewing patterns and instructions.
• Familiarity with upholstery fabrics (vinyl, leather, etc.).
• Willingness to learn and participate in a training program.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble fabric pieces per patterns.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure quality standards.
• Perform basic maintenance on sewing machines to keep them in good condition.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet production deadlines.

• Perform basic maintenance on sewing machines to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
