Job Summary

The Slot Attendant is responsible for providing superior guest service to all guests of the casino and for providing additional services including, but not limited to payouts, answering questions, and handling minor disputes. The Slot Attendant will also be required to perform basic maintenance on slot machines and is responsible for the cleanliness and appearance of their area. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the organization’s policies and procedures, tribal regulations, and all federal/state laws, as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• 1. All Team Members must embrace and deliver Kiowa’s Guest Service Standards to every Guest on every shift, as outlined in Orientation, the Team Member Handbook, SOP’s, and any other related training.
• 2. Ensure an exceptional level of service and satisfaction is achieved throughout the properties, exceeding the expectations of external and internal Guests alike in a timely and effective manner.
• 3. Assist the Slot Supervisor in all jackpots by paying out the jackpot winnings to the Guest.
• 4. Change out paper in slot machines when needed.
• 5. Assist Guests and explain slot machine winning combinations, pay lines, etc.
• 6. Inform the Slot Tech of repairs that need to be made on specific slot machines.
• 7. Responsible for gaming keys issued to them during their assigned shift.
• 8. Assist Cocktail Server when needed.
• 9. Monitor area for cleanliness and empty ashtrays, pick up trash, and straighten chairs.
• 10. Provide Guests with current information on all promotions and casino events.
• 11. Create a quality entertainment experience for all Guests by use of the Hospitality Standards.
• 12. Observes Guest to identify regulars and learn names, inviting them back regularly in a professional manner.
• 13. Possesses a thorough knowledge of the Kiowa Reward’s Club rules and policies.
• 14. Identify Guests playing slot machines without a Reward’s Club Card and encourage them to join the Reward’s program and explain the benefits of being a Club member and on how to use the Reward’s card in the slot machine and explain how they earn points and how to download their promotional dollars.
• 15. Abide by Title 31 requirements.
• 16. Maintain a high level of Guest confidentiality.
• 17. Adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and casino policies and procedures, and to the MICS.
• 18. Maintain knowledge of special events, hours of operation, and other pertinent information.
• 19. Perform additional duties or projects, as assigned.

Qualifications
