Job summary

Rhythms Home Care in Englewood, CO is hiring compassionate Home Care Aides to deliver in-home personal care and support. Hours vary by client and are not guaranteed.

You will assist with meals, light housekeeping, laundry, personal care, mobility, and companionship, while documenting services and communicating changes to a supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months experience in adult day, healthcare or home care environment serving seniors.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license in good standing.
• Current vehicle registration and proof of insurance.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Observe and maintain a safe home environment for the client.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals; assist with feeding if needed.
• Housekeeping and laundry services.
• Assist with personal care: bathing, grooming, mobility, medication reminders, incontinence care, transferring, dressing, undressing and ambulation.
• Provide companionship and mental stimulation.
• Document services provided and report changes to supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description Compensation & Growth:
Level I: $20.20–$21.80/hour to start
Level II: $23.40–$25.03/hour
Level III: up to $26.65/hour (internal associates)
Clear path for advancement based on experience, training, and performance A note on hours: As a home care provider, your hours are based on client assignments rather than a fixed schedule. Because scheduling depends on client needs, hours can vary from week to week — this role offers flexibility, but hours are not guaranteed. Position Summary Provides personal care services in accordance with the policies and requirements of Rhythms Home Care Services, as well as the service arrangements in the client contract and plan of care. Essential Duties

• Observation and maintenance of the home environment that ensures the safety and security of the client
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals, may need to assist with feeding patients.
• Housekeeping and laundry services.
• Assist patients with personal care needs such as bathing, oral care, hair care, nail care, medication reminders, incontinence care, transferring, dressing, undressing and ambulation.
• Companionship, including but not limited to social interaction, conversation, emotional support and mind stimulating activities.
• Documentation of the services provided, including the date and times; reports changes to supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• 6 months experience working in an adult day, healthcare or home care environment that serves senior adults.
• Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license in good standing.
• Must possess current vehicle registration and proof of insurance coverage.
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

• Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.
• Possible exposure to household chemicals.
• Sits, stands, bends and moves intermittently during working hours.
• May be subject to frequent interruptions.
• Interacts with clients, family members and visitors frequently.
