Job summary

Campbell Street in Wellman, IA is seeking a Part Time Dietary Aide to provide an efficient, exceptional dining experience with first-class customer service for residents. You will assist during scheduled meals, help serve meals, prepare beverages, and ensure the kitchen and dining areas are clean and safe according to dietary needs.

Qualifications include being at least 16 years old, a high school diploma or in school, and the ability to read, write, and speak English.

Qualifications

• Applicant must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Shall have a high school diploma, or equivalent, or be in school.
• Able to read, write, understand and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Possesses clear verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Removes soiled dishes from pervious shifts that were leftover.
• Prepares/provides ice water according to the established procedure.
• Refills salt, pepper, and sugar shakers whenever necessary.
• Prepare milk pitchers and cold juices.
• Help serve meals.
• Fills drink glasses for meal service.
• Cleans off counters, picks up dishes and utensils and cleans tabletops.
• Returns soiled dishes and utensils to kitchen and loads dishwashing machine.
• Check the supply of coffee cups at service window and replenish when needed.
• Check windows, ledges, sills, refrigerator, milk cooler, ice machine, coffee urn and tables for cleanliness.
