Requirements & Responsibilities

The role involves providing presence and companionship to hospice patients and supporting caregivers. An interview, background check, drug and fingerprint screening, and TB test are required before visits can be set up. We adhere to protocols that ensure safety and peace of mind. We cannot accept court-ordered community service, and volunteers must be 18 or older.

Upon completed application, you will undergo an interview and the required screenings. Volunteer orientation will be provided and ongoing support will be available from our staff.
