Job summary

Houchens Sonic Drive-In is seeking a Crew Member to perform a variety of duties including order taking, carhop, food preparation, cooking, packaging, and serving guests. Responsibilities include operating drive-thru and front registers, and maintaining clean, safe work areas in a fast-paced Sonic environment.

Must be able to work irregular hours, weekends and holidays, with a focus on customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

Effective communication skills.
Basic math and basic reading skills.

Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
Ability to multi-task.
Complies with Sonic Drive-In Policies, health and sanitation laws.
STAR certification and Sonic training programs completed.
General knowledge of the restaurant industry or retail operations.

Responsibilities

Operates multiple stations to ensure quality, portion control, temperature, packaging, appearance, and service.
Gives team help and support to other crew and managers when duties are caught up.
Operates drive-thru window and sales register, handling orders and payments efficiently.
Prepares fountain drinks, ice cream items and grill/fry items as needed.
Packages items and serves guests in drive-thru and other stations.
Maintains cleanliness of all drive-in areas and restrooms; handles trash disposal.
Extends courteous, prompt service while prioritizing guest needs.
