Econo-Courier in Parsippany, NJ seeks an experienced Cargo Van/Medical Courier Driver to join our family-owned team. You will pick up, transport, and deliver time-sensitive shipments safely and professionally while maintaining excellent customer service.

As needed, you will also act as a medical courier, picking up and delivering specimens and medical materials along routes through the tri-state area, including hospitals in New York City, with strict confidentiality and chain-of-custody

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of courier or delivery experience.
• Knowledge of the tri-state area, including New York City.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Punctual, professional, and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver time-sensitive shipments across NY/NJ/PA/CT.
• Operate a cargo van on local roads and highways in varying conditions.
• Load, secure, and unload freight with care.
• Maintain delivery records and proof of pickup/delivery.
• Communicate route status and issues with dispatch.
• Inspect vehicles for safety before and after shifts.
• Serve as medical courier when needed, handling specimens and confidential materials.
• Transport specimens to hospitals, including NYC.
