Job summary

Global K9 Protection Group LLC is seeking a dedicated 3PK9 Explosive Detection K9 Handler to join the security team in a full-time role. The position emphasizes screening operations with an explosive-detection canine and maintaining administration and welfare records. Training location is Opelika, AL with paths to direct hire based on K9 review and certification.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens, pass TSA checks, hold a Real ID driver’s license, and pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Citizen or national of the United States.
• Able to pass TSA Security Threat Assessment.
• Possess valid Real ID driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Must obtain TSA Known Traveler Number (TSA Pre-Check).
• Ability to read, write, and understand English well enough for instructions.

Handlers are responsible for maintaining administrative records for work and training.Canine handlers are responsible for the housing, care, maintenance, and welfare of assigned canine.
