Qualifications

• Excellent English verbal and written communication.
• Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office.
• Basic math skills for payment transactions.
• Problem-solving to troubleshoot loading/unloading issues.
• Strong time management for fast-paced environment and multitasking.
• Bilingual in English & Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Convey shipping instructions to the customer services counter.
• Retrieve import documents and deliver export documents to and from aircraft.
• Accept cargo in accordance with TSA, FAA, Government and Air Carrier rules.
• Accept dangerous goods following FAA Regulations and IATA DG Regulations.
• Release imported freight after CBP clearance reviews.
• Collect air freight charges and handle billing disputes.
• Handle calls from customers professionally and courteously.
• Enter data into company information system and prepare freight transfer manifests.
• Follow safety, security and compliance procedures at all times.
• Be punctual, prepared, and flexible with hours including nights and weekends.
