Aerotek is hiring a Cargo Handler at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport to unpack cargo, move boxes and repack containers for loading onto planes. You will work in a team, stand for long periods, and lift up to 75 pounds in a fast-paced environment.

Position is contract-to-hire for 18 weeks with weekly pay and full benefits. Must have a high school diploma and steel-toed boots; English communication skills required. Onsite in Phoenix, AZ with multiple shift options.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Ability to speak, read and write English; reports to work on a regular and timely basis.
• Able to work indoor/outdoor in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 30–70 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Steel-toed boots required – not composite or sneakers and must cover the ankle.

Shifts

• Must be open to all shifts.
• Will have 2 days off back-to-back.
• Shift options: 2:00am–10:30am, 3:30pm–midnight, 11:00pm–7:30am. Must be flexible to work any of these shifts.

Pay

$17.50 per hour.

As a Cargo Handler, you will unpack cargo containers, move boxes, and repack containers for distribution and loading onto planes. This role involves standing on your feet all day and working in a team environment. You must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and assemble and break down boxes.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 18 weeks. You will start as a contractor and go direct with the company after 18 weeks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.31–$18.66 per year.
