Job summary

Unifi Aviation LLC is seeking individuals to join a growing team with a focus on safety and reliability in handling air freight and cargo. No experience required; paid training provided.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading freight, weighing items, preparing bills of lading, and assisting customers. Full-time role with benefits and opportunities for flight privileges after 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a valid Driving License.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight, packages or cargo.
• Take orders from customers, arrange pickup of cargo and answer questions related to cargo.
• Prepare bills of lading and weigh items to determine charges and prepare freight bills.
• Collect fees, process payments, and issue refunds using the computer system.
• Contact vendors and claims adjustment department to resolve problems with shipments.
• Prepare manifest to accompany shipments and maintain records of goods shipped, received and stored.
• May also perform ramp agent duties as needed.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within appropriate skill level.
• Complete work safely, reporting safety incidents as well as hazards.

Job Summary:

Responsible for routing inbound and outbound air freight shipments to their destinations and processing transactions for shipments.
