Job summary

Highland Management Group, Inc. is seeking a Caretaker for Hampshire House Apartments in St Louis Park, MN. The position is part-time (20 hours per week) with an hourly rate starting at $16.00.

Living on-site is optional, with rent discounts for those who choose to reside on-site. DUTIES include daily cleaning, grounds care, appliance and fixture maintenance, and seasonal outdoor tasks. Applicants will perform cleaning of common areas, inspect vacant units, and report supply needs to Management.

Qualifications

• Cleaning and housekeeping experience preferred.
• Reliable, detail-oriented and punctual.
• Ability to perform basic property maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of common areas.
• Walk the grounds daily and keep property debris-free.
• Clean garages, mechanical rooms, and storage areas.
• Replace burned-out bulbs and wash fixtures.
• Know water and gas meter shut-offs and fixtures.
• Seasonal: shovel snow, rake leaves, pull weeds, sweep sidewalks.
• Clean and detail apartments; ensure vacant units are clean.
• Notify the manager of needed supplies and equipment.
• Other tasks as requested by Management.

Apartment Caretaker: Hampshire House Apartments

Position: Part-time,20 hours per week.

Hourly Rate: starting at $16.00

Highland Management Group, Inc. is seeking a full-time Caretaker to be part of our team at Hampshire House Apartments in St Louis Park.

Living on-site is not a requirement for this position, but employees who do choose to live on-site will receive a higher rent discount!

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Daily cleaning of the common areas.
• Walk the grounds daily and keep property free of debris & litter.
• Clean garages, mechanical rooms, and storage areas.
• Replace burned-out bulbs and wash out fixtures.
• Have a working knowledge of water and gas meter shut offs, all apartment fixtures, shut-off locations and sewer clean-outs.
• Seasonal: shovel snow, rake leaves, pull weeds, sweep sidewalks as needed.
• Clean and detail apartments.
• Assure cleanliness of vacant units.
• Notify the manager of needed cleaning supplies & equipment.
• Other miscellaneous tasks as requested by Management.
