Job summary

Carepool in Wisconsin is seeking Healthcare Drivers to help individuals with disabilities or aging populations get to work and appointments. Use your own car or drive a wheelchair accessible van with our partners, choosing your own project-based schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record (minor traffic ticket within 2–5 years acceptable).
• Must be at least 21 years old and have over 5 years of driving experience.
• Healthcare experience and 1 year of professional driving preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to read people and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation to individuals with disabilities or aging population to work, appointments, and community events.
• Coordinate rides on a project basis and with other drivers as needed.
• Maintain safe, reliable, and courteous transportation at all times.

Would you like to help individuals with special needs, developmental disabilities or the aging population integrate better into society? That’s our goal at Carepool.

Healthcare Driver roles are flexible as a side hustle or more focused, position. Use your own car to make money while helping others! We have created a transportation platform for people with disabilities to get to work and integrate into their communities. Choose your own schedule on a project basis with your own vehicle or drive a wheelchair accessible van with one of our partners.

We are seeking drivers who want to take consistent rides and build trusting relationships.

This works in a similar fashion to driving Uber, but some riders are scheduled as the same on a daily or weekly basis. Partner with other drivers to cover shifts when needed.

Requirements

• Excellent personality with the ability to read people and solve problems.
• Must have a clean driving record (minus a minor ticket or two, every 2-5 years) is required.
• Safe and Secure transport is our middle name, so you need to be able to make it yours!
• Must be at least 21 yrs old and have over 5 years of driving experience.
• Healthcare specific experience and 1-year Professional Driving is preferred.
