Job summary

Carepool is hiring contract drivers in Council Bluffs, IA to transport people with disabilities and aging program participants. You'll use your own vehicle and earn a minimum of $22 per hour on paid projects, with potential to earn up to $45 per hour on a consistent basis.

Shifts are mornings, afternoons, and early evenings to fit around schedules and appointments. Drivers provide safe transport home from hospitals and to work or activity centers, helping clients integrate into daily life.

Qualifications

• Excellent personality with the ability to read people and solve problems.
• 100% clean driving record (minus a minor ticket or two, every 2-3 years) is required.
• Must be at least 21 yrs. old.
• Healthcare specific experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide schedule rides for appointments and on-demand discharges to get people home safely from the hospital.
• Drive people with disabilities to work, activity centers, and other engagements.
• Earn substantial project-based pay on paid projects while helping clients.

Carepool is transportation software built alongside the state of Wisconsin's disability and aging programs. We're making transportation accessible for everyone!
We're hiring in Council Bluffs, where drivers earn a minimum of $22/hr on paid projects. Drivers use their own vehicle earn up to $45/hr on a consistent basis.

If you have experience as a healthcare worker, or any exposure to people with disabilities it is a huge plus. Must have a caring profile!

Safe and Secure transport is our middle name, so you'd need to be able to make it yours! Must be at least 21 yrs. old. Healthcare specific experience and 1-year Professional Driving is preferred.
