Job summary

Senior Helpers of Rockford is seeking part-time caregivers to provide in-home senior care on weekends, helping with activities of daily living, mobility, meals, and companionship. Caregivers must have reliable transportation and a clean background, and will work in clients' homes across Winnebago and Boone counties.

Responsibilities include personal care, medication reminders, light housekeeping, errands, and ensuring safety and dignity for our clients in their own residences.

Qualifications

• Caregiving duties include personal care, walking/transferring, toileting and incontinence care, medication reminders, meal prep and cleanup, laundry, light housekeeping, errands and companionship.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home senior care on weekends, including daily living assistance and companionship.
• Ensure client safety, monitor well-being and communicate with families as needed.

Senior Helpers is now hiring part-time Caregivers to fill Weekends. Most assignments are located in Winnebago or Boone county.
Senior Helpers of Rockford provides in-home senior services ranging from specialized care for those with diseases, such as dementia, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, to personal and companion care to help individuals looking for a little assistance with daily activities. Caregiving duties include but are not limited to: Personal Care Assistance, Walking/Transferring Assistance, Toileting & Incontinent Care, Medication Reminders, Meal Preparation & Cleanup, Laundry & Bed Linen Service, Light Housekeeping, Errands & Transportation and Companionship.
Caregivers must have a clean background and reliable transportation.
