Job summary

HomeWell Care Services TX169 is seeking compassionate Caregivers in the Cypress area to provide non-medical in-home support to seniors. You will work one-on-one with clients, delivering companionship and day-to-day assistance in their own homes.

Shifts are flexible across Cypress, Waller, Conroe, Magnolia and Livingston with a focus on dignity and respect. Prior CNA/HHA experience or CPR is valued, and reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA license preferred or 6 months of full-time care experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with auto insurance
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
• Physical ability to perform the duties
• Criminal background check required

Responsibilities

• Companionship and social engagement for clients
• Light cooking and cleaning in client homes
• Bathing, grooming and toileting assistance
• Assistance with ambulation and medication reminders
• Transportation for appointments and errands

We have a variety of shifts available in various areas. Predominantly in the Cypress area but we do have clients in Waller, Conroe, Magnolia areas as well as in Livingston. Very flexible scheduling.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but not limited to:

• Companionship
• Light cooking and cleaning
• Bathing, grooming and toileting
• Assistance with ambulation and medication reminders
• Transportation for appointments and errands

QUALIFICATIONS

• CNA or HHA license preferred or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons
• Exceptional communication skills
• Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver's license and auto insurance
• CPR certified (or with in 90 days of onboarding)
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
• Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
• Pass a criminal background check (national and required by the state)
