Job summary

Golden Rule Services seeks compassionate Caregivers to provide in-home support for seniors and individuals, helping them stay independent in the comfort of their own homes.

You will assist with ADLs, offer companionship, prepare meals, handle light housekeeping, and document care according to a personalized plan in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Flexible scheduling and opportunities for both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if required).
• Previous caregiving, home health, CNA, PCA, or direct support experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to pass any required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, respectful, and professional care while promoting each client's dignity and independence.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and personal hygiene.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe, clean home environment.
• Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan.
• Observe, document, and report changes in clients' physical, emotional, or mental condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation and protect client confidentiality.
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
• Follow individualized care plans while demonstrating integrity, reliability, professionalism, and accountability.
