Job summary

Right at Home Greater Montgomery County is actively hiring CNAs and Personal Care Assistants to support clients at home. Join a growing international home care company with over 25 years of experience.

We offer flexible scheduling, competitive pay ($16.00-$18.00 per hour), 401(k), caregiver rewards, weekly direct deposit, and mobile clock in/out with supportive office staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) in the home.
• Perform housekeeping tasks (vacuum, dust, sweep, mop, clean bathroom).
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions.
• Accompany client to errands or medical appointments.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide medication reminders as directed.
• Support ROM exercises and dementia care.
• Offer companionship through reading, music, and activities.

Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, you will have the chance to perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home

• Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom

• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions

• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments

• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving

• Medication reminders

• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises

• Dementia care

• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.

• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job

• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance

• Pass a background check
