Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking caregivers/direct care aides to support individuals with mental health and developmental disabilities in Western Allegheny County (Oakdale, McKees Rocks, etc.). Shifts include 2nd (Evening) 3P-11P or 4P-12MID; part-time or flexible schedules available.

Independent contractor opportunities with weekly compensation and potential for growth. Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, direct care experience, and valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Experience providing direct care.
• Ability to complete clearances (Physical/TB, CPR/First Aid, PA State criminal Background).
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.

We have several clients in URGENT need of CAREGIVERS/DIRECT CARE AIDES to provide care to persons with Mental Health/Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities throughout the Western area of Allegheny County (i.e. McKees Rocks, Coraopolis, Crafton, Carnegie, Oakdale, McDonald, etc.) Supplement your income!

HOURLY COMPENSATION RATE & AVAILABLE HOURS

• $17/hr. compensation depending on Contractor's qualifications, availability, and skills.
• 2nd (Evening) Shifts URGENTLY NEEDED (3P-11P OR 4P-12MID).
• Weekdays and/or Weekends: You tell us what shifts YOU can work!
• Long term independent contracts, Part-time or flexible schedules available.
• Some assignments ongoing and client negotiable temp-to-potential-perm!

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF OPPORTUNITY

• Provide support that will enhance Individuals' quality of life.
• Provide personal care management to individuals with autism and other mental and developmental disabilities.
• Perform light household duties and assist clients with daily functional activities including but not limited to meal preparation, house keeping, and life skills group.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent
• Experience providing direct care
• Ability to complete and/or produce requested clearances (i.e. Physical/TB screening, CPR/First Aid, PA State criminal Background)
• Valid Driver's License & Reliable Transportation - a must.

Persons with experience in the following roles are welcome to reply: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), Home Care, Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Companion, Caregiver, Patient Care Technician (PCT), and Direct Care Worker (DCW)
