Senior Helpers of Riverside - Home Care is hiring Caregivers for Medicare patients in Upland (91784), Rancho Cucamonga (91739), and Chino (91708).

• Hourly pay rate: $18.00 to $19.00

Duties

• Promote resident rights and maintain a safe and comfortable environment
• Assist clients with activities of daily living
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Administer medication reminders
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Help clients with mobility and transportation needs

Qualifications

• Previous experience in care giving or a related field preferred
• Knowledge of resident rights and principles of patient care
• Ability to lift and transfer individuals using proper body mechanics
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Familiarity with medication administration systems is a plus

Requirements

• CA registration as home care aide (we can help you with this process if you do not have an active registration number)
• Cooking skills for meal preparation
• Previous experience in home care is beneficial ‑ proficiency in direct support services
