Job summary

Right at Home in McMurray, PA is seeking Skilled Caregivers and Home Health Aides for part-time in-home care. Join a caring team to help clients stay in their homes and maintain independence.

We offer flexible schedules, competitive pay starting at $17.00 per hour, and benefits. Applicants should have caregiving experience and a valid driver’s license for client visits.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or G.E.D. preferred.
• Three years of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities).
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile

Responsibilities

• Personal hygiene assistance (bath, grooming, mouth care, skincare).
• Ambulation/Transfers assistance.
• Meal planning and preparation.
• Dressing and grooming assistance.
• Accompany to appointments and errands.
• Light housekeeping including vacuuming, laundry, dishes, and cleaning.
• Medication reminders
• Assist with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Support with special diets
• Incontinence care

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Eating
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments.
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
