Job summary

Right at Home Rock Hill, SC is seeking a dedicated caregiver to assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and meal preparation. Successful candidates will have experience in home health care, a high school diploma or G.E.D., and must possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene (bathroom assistance, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair), ambulation and transfers, eating, dressing, and shaving.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany patients on errands or medical appointments.
• Perform housekeeping activities such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Perform patient-specific activities taught by a Right at Home nurse, such as medication reminders, assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises, measuring and preparing special diets, understanding dementia care, and incontinence care.
