Job summary

ComForCare Home Care - Park Ridge is seeking a dedicated caregiver to assist clients at home, helping them stay independent and safe in familiar surroundings.

You will provide personal care, mobility assistance, meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship, with an emphasis on respectful, person-centered care and reliable transportation to meet clients’ needs. Training and ongoing opportunities are available through the local franchise network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in clients’ homes with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent.
• Provide personal care and mobility assistance.
• Assist with meal planning, preparation and feeding.
• Help with housekeeping and errands.
• Provide companionship and respite for families.

What you will be doing:

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
• Provide assistance with personal care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
• Properly manage household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
