Independent Home Health is hiring dependable, compassionate Caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to individuals in their homes throughout Wyalusing and surrounding communities.

You’ll have the opportunity to build a relationship with the person you’re supporting and help them remain safe, comfortable and independent at home. No professional caregiving experience? That’s okay. If you’re reliable, patient and enjoy helping others, we’d love to talk with you.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Be able to pass required background checks.
• Be dependable, caring and patient.
• No professional caregiving experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Help with mobility and everyday activities.
• Prepare meals and complete light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed.
• Follow the individual’s care plan and document services.

What You’ll Do

Depending on the needs of the individual you’re supporting, you may:

What We’re Looking For

You must:

• Be18 years of age or older

Previous caregiving experience is welcome, but it is not required.

Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, personal care aide, home health aide, PCA, HHA or CNA is a plus.
