Job summary

LifeSpan Companion Care in Indianapolis is seeking compassionate Caregivers to support clients with daily living activities, safety, and dignity. You will monitor vital signs, assist with mobility, personal care, and transportation, while documenting care provided and coordinating with families and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and provide proof of auto insurance.
• Familiarity with infection control standards and procedures.
• Basic computer literacy to document care and communicate effectively.
• Preferred: experience as a caregiver and in healthcare settings.
• Experience with EHR systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists with client's personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assists with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and use of devices.
• Assists with toileting and continence management.
• Transport clients to appointments safely.
• Assists with feeding and meal planning/prep.
• Maintains neatness in clients' homes and handles equipment cleaning.
