Job summary

Independent Home Health is hiring dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to individuals in their homes throughout Wyalusing and surrounding communities.

You'll have the opportunity to build a relationship with the person you're supporting and help them remain safe, comfortable and independent at home.

No professional caregiving experience required. If you're reliable, patient and enjoy helping others, we'd love to talk with you.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be able to pass required background checks.
• Be dependable, caring and patient.
• Previous caregiving experience is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Help with mobility and daily activities.
• Prepare meals.
• Complete light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed.
• Follow the individual's care plan.
• Document the services you provide.

What We're Looking For

You must:

• Be18 years of age or older

Previous caregiving experience is welcome, but it is not required.

Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, personal care aide, home health aide, PCA, HHA or CNA is a plus.
