Job summary

Senior Helpers (US) in Florida is urgently hiring caregivers for weekend shifts. The role focuses on providing compassionate in-home care across ADLs and IADLs, with companionship and support to enhance clients' quality of life.

Experience in healthcare or home care, a caring attitude, and willingness to learn are essential. A Level 2 background screening is required, and paid training and advancement opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, or nursing assistance is required.
• Caring and compassionate; you enjoy helping others.
• Willingness to learn new skills to best assist clients.
• Must pass Level 2 background screening through Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Assist home care clients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
• Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation and activities.
• Complete thorough personal care documentation for all shifts.
• Promptly arrive for scheduled client shifts and training.
• Complete all required training courses on time.

Responsibilities

• Assist home care clients with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Assist home care clients with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)
• Provide companionship and emotional support by engaging in conversation and recreational activities
• Complete thorough and proper personal care documentation for all client shifts
• Prompt arrival for all scheduled client shifts and training
• On-time completion of all required training courses

• Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, or nursing assistance is REQUIRED
