Job summary

Chrysalis in Nephi, UT is seeking a part-time Group-Home Staff to support individuals with developmental disabilities in leading self-directed, meaningful lives. This entry-level role offers swing shifts, weekends, and graveyard shifts with a starting wage of $15/hr and excellent benefits including health insurance.

No experience is required, and training is provided. You will assist with daily living tasks and help individuals learn new skills while fostering independence.

Qualifications

• Capable of communicating well in English (verbal and written).
• No prior experience required; training available.
• Must be at least 18 years old; able to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily living activities.
• Assist with budgeting, meal preparation, shopping, and trying new activities.
• Mentor individuals to learn new skills and participate in meaningful activities.

Position Details

As an entry-level Group-Home Staff, you support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible. Your support is needed in many areas of daily living including:

• Participating in fun activities
• Budgeting
• Meal preparation
• Help the individuals try new things.
• Shopping
• Mentor the individuals to learn new skills

Qualifications and Skills

• No experience needed.
• Capable of communicating well in English both verbal and written form
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check
