Job summary

Circle of Life is seeking caregivers for non-medical in-home support in Northwest Arkansas. The role focuses on companionship, daily living assistance, and transportation to appointments, with opportunities for education assistance and certification support.

Starting pay is $16.50/hour with a weekend differential. Flexible PRN schedules and the ability to choose assignments offer work-life balance, plus benefits for full-time staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and sitting.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming (ADL).
• Assist with transportation to appointments.
• Run errands and accompany clients to events.
• Meal preparation.
• Assist with light housekeeping.
• Support recreational activities (crafts, writing, exercises).
• Provide medication reminders.
• Other duties as assigned.

Caregiver Qualifications

Prior caregiving experience preferred. Demonstrates compassion and an ability to build rapport with clients. Able to work independently and demonstrate dependable work habits. Excellent interpersonal skills. Must have valid and current driver's license or the ability to access reliable transportation. Able to meet pre-employment screening criteria.

Specific Duties May Include

• Companionship and sitting.
• Assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming and other ADL's.
• Transportation and assistance to appointments.
• Errand running and transportation to events.
• Meal preparation
• Assisting with light housekeeping
• Assisting with recreational tasks such as crafting, letter writing, exercising etc.
• Medication reminders
• Other duties as assigned.
