Job summary

Senior Helpers Foothills is seeking a compassionate caregiver to join our team in Colorado. This role offers flexibility and growth into a Caregiver or Client Manager as client needs expand.

Responsibilities include helping with daily living activities, meals, transportation, and light housekeeping, while building strong relationships with clients. Paid training and supportive team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Applicants must be 18 years or older.
• Legal identification and authorization to work in the United States are required.
• Reliable transportation, car insurance/driver's license, and punctual shifts are needed.
• Ability to use care documentation systems via caregiver app.

Responsibilities

• Have fun and engaging conversations with clients to build relationships.
• Prep meals for clients to enjoy.
• Assist with walking, dressing, and daily living activities.
• Report completed activities and client condition updates.
• Provide light housekeeping: laundry, dishes, and errands when needed.

If you are a compassionate individual who enjoys caring and helping others, takes pride in making a difference in others’ lives, and is interested in professional growth within a company, our caregiver position is for you. This position will grow into the Caregiver or Client Manager position! The new office in Conifer will serve the area from Wadsworth west to Fairplay, including West Denver, Littleton, Lakewood, Morrison, Ken Caryl, Conifer, Pine, Bailey. We're looking for an individual to begin as a caregiver, but as clients grow, you'll move into a manager position.

Job Duties: What does a day in the life of a caregiver look like? Providing a helping hand.

• Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships
• Prep meals for your clients to enjoy
• Assist your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living
• Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior
• Help where they can't. Housekeeping, gardening, laundry, dishes, reaching high shelves, etc.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years or older
• For management consideration, you'll need some previous experience or earn it here
• Legal Identification and proof of authorization to work in the United States
• Must have reliable transportation, car insurance/driver's license, and ability to arrive at shifts on time
• Ability to use clock in & out & care documentation system used by agency successfully through caregiver app
• Ability to transport client in a vehicle safely
• You enjoy customer service and communicating with clients
• You want to help your community and make a difference in someone’s life
