Job summary

Home Instead in Watertown, SD is seeking caring and compassionate Caregivers, referred to as Care Professionals, to join our team and help aging adults live at home with dignity.

Responsibilities include companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, reminders, and Alzheimer’s care. No experience required—skills training is provided—and we offer flexible shifts, 24/7 support, competitive pay, and benefits.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required. Training provided by Home Instead.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients in a friendly, compassionate manner.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance if driving clients.

• Perform light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
• Give medication and appointment reminders.
• Provide Alzheimer’s care.
• Treat clients and their property with dignity and respect.

Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate Caregivers—we call ours Care Professionals—to become a part of our team and join our mission of expanding the world’s capacity to care. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow aging adults to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Primary Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Alzheimer’s Care
• Ability to treat and care for aging adults and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and compassionate manner
• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance (required if driving clients)
