Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to provide 1:1 support for an adult female Veteran in her home in Newfoundland, PA. This opportunity offers meaningful, personalized care and companionship in a comfortable home setting.

The caregiver will assist with ADLs, mobility, meals, and daily activities, while maintaining safety and documentation. Flexible scheduling and built-in support are provided by Maxim.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver, direct care, home health aide, or personal care experience preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to pass required background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care and support in the client's home.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Support mobility and ensure a safe environment.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversation and activities.
• Monitor the client's condition and report any concerns to the care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation as required.
