Job summary

Always Family HomeCare in Falls Church, VA is seeking a compassionate caregiver who speaks Vietnamese to assist a gentleman with Alzheimer's at home with daily activities. The family requires Vietnamese language skills to facilitate communication and ensure comfort.

You will help with personal care, light housekeeping, and companionship, while following the RN supervisor's instructions. Flexible schedule and opportunities for bonuses exist, including referrals for caregivers and clients.

Qualifications

• Must speak fluent Vietnamese
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Current Driver's License
• Current TB test
• COVID-19 and flu Immunizations

Responsibilities

• Follows the instructions of the RN Supervisor in providing personal assistance services.
• Provide assistance with hygiene such as bathing, oral care, and dressing.
• Assist with food preparation; serve food, performs errands, light housekeeping, laundry, wash dishes.
• Observe and report any safety hazards found in the client's home or any significant observations regarding the client.
• Attend staff meetings, attend/complete 12 hours of annual in-services, and participates in orientation of new employees.
• Report client complaints to the RN Supervisor.
• Report abnormal findings in client's conditions as observed and per care plan to RN.

Job Summary

Are you a compassionate Caregiver with Vietnamese language skills? Gentleman with Alzheimer's needs assistance at home with daily activities. He has some balance and mobility issues. Vietnamese speaking Caregiver is required by the family to help with communication. Assistance with light housekeeping and laundry.

• Start at $18 per hour.
• Time and a half for major holidays.
• Earn bonus for referring new Caregivers

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: One year of experience as a Caregiver. CNA is highly desirable.
