Job summary

Vacaville Senior Living in Vacaville, CA is hiring Caretaker / Caregiver to join a compassionate team that focuses on high-quality healthcare and extraordinary compassion for seniors.

The role includes personal care, daily task support, mobility assistance, and patient documentation. The schedule features multiple shifts with weekends, and a monthly phone stipend for eligible staff. A valid HCA or caregiving experience in a skilled facility is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid HCA or caregiving experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living facility.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s or patient’s needs
• Providing assistance with daily tasks, including feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping
• Assisting client with mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing
• Must be able to assist with bathing
• Must be able to assist with toileting
• Must be comfortable around bodily fluids such as urine, vomit, blood, saliva etc.
• Must be able to assist with transferring residents from wheelchair to beds, etc.
• Must be willing to work with older adults with special needs and cognitive impairments
• Must be willing to assist with grooming, hygiene, activities of daily living

As part of our employee benefits, eligible team members receive a monthly phone stipend:

• $25/month – Full-Time

• $12.50/month – Part-Time

The stipend begins following successful completion of the 90-day introductory period.

Schedule:

• Day 6am-2:00p

• PM 2p-10:00pm

• NOC 10p-6:00a
