Job summary

CareGivers NW in Idaho Falls is seeking a qualified caregiver specialist to assist clients and fellow caregivers in a professional and compassionate manner.

The role involves helping with personal care, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, shopping, and providing supportive companionship. Applicants should be able to travel within 30 miles and participate in after-hours on-call rotation, with Mon-Fri daytime availability.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver is preferred but not required.
• Able to pass a drug screen.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean driving record.

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Aid mobility and ambulation around the house.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Assist with shopping.
• Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.
• Willing to travel within 30 miles in any direction.
• Train new caregivers adequately.
• Be available Mon.-Fri. between 8am-5pm.
• After-hours on-call rotation (one weekday and one weekend per month).
