Job summary

Cheer Home Care is actively hiring in-home caregivers in the San Diego area. The role focuses on compassionate non-medical home care, including companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation to appointments. Shifts are 4 hours, with Fridays 9am-4pm and potential additions on Mondays/Wednesday.

Competitive pay at $25 per hour, with a supportive team and resources. Caregivers will work in clients' homes to help maintain independence and safety, providing dementia/alzheimer's support

Qualifications

• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and companionship.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
• Certifications such as CNA/HHA/CPR/First Aid/AED are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and non-medical home care to seniors and disabled clients.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments as needed.
• Support with light housekeeping and home making tasks.
• Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Hospice care and related needs as required.

Requirements

• Helping with activities of daily living
• Strong organizational & communication skills
• Certifications that are preferred but NOT required: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED
• Able to drive client in their own personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement)
• Cell phone with internet access
