Job summary

Omatochi in California is seeking a Caregiver to provide direct, compassionate care in clients’ homes or community settings, following care plans and maintaining safety and respect. The position is field-based with variable days, evenings and weekends; overtime eligibility applies.

You will document services in approved systems, report changes promptly, and communicate professionally with clients and team members.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Pay Range: $20 - $25 per hour (depending on experience and assignment)

Location: California | Field-based

Schedule: Variable; days, evenings, weekends as scheduled; overtime eligible

Position Summary

The Caregiver provides direct care services to clients in their homes or community settings. This role supports clients with daily living activities while ensuring services are delivered safely, respectfully, and in accordance with care plans and organizational standards.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Client Care & Service Delivery

• Provide personal care and support services as outlined in client care plans.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients.

Attendance & Reliability

• Arrive on time for all scheduled visits.
• Communicate promptly regarding schedule changes or emergencies.
• Complete assigned visits as scheduled.

Documentation & Reporting

• Accurately document services delivered using approved systems.
• Report incidents, concerns, or changes in client condition immediately.
• Follow documentation and reporting standards at all times.

Professional Conduct

• Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.

Required Qualifications

Workweek, Compensation, And Benefits

This is a non-exempt, hourly position.
