Job summary

Legend Senior Living in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking a dedicated Caregiver/Resident Assistant for the 3rd shift to support residents with daily living activities. You will provide personal care, assist with grooming, meals, and social interactions, contributing to a safe, comfortable, and respectful living environment.

You will document tasks, communicate needs to the Health Care Director, participate in shift reports, and help monitor residents' well-being.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar caregiver/resident assistant role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily resident care including personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, meals and social interactions.
• Monitoring residents' physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed.
• Documenting tasks such as daily shift reports and resident records.
• Communicating urgent needs and concerns clearly to the Health Care Director.
• Managing assigned tasks within the scheduled shift.

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the nursing team as a Resident Assistant/Caregiver. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by assisting them with their activities of daily living.

Responsibilities--

Caregiver/Resident Assistant

• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident's physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
