Job summary

The Waters Senior Living Management LLC in Minnesota Plymouth is seeking a Resident Assistant for the PM shift 3PM-11:30PM, with every other weekend included. The RA provides personal care and supports daily living activities under supervision of a Nurse, delivering care with courtesy, dignity, and respect.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year nursing/resident assistant care experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English.
• Basic computer skills with ability to learn EHR systems.
• Compassion for hospitality and excellence in senior care.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexible with hours and shift schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other care as designated.
• Assist residents in dining.
• Provides homemaking tasks.
• Responds to and reports changes in resident's health status and/or any recommendations for changes that should be made to the resident plan of care.
• Completes thorough daily charting.
• Collaborates with other team members within the community to deliver The Waters Way.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Caregiver, or Resident Assistant (RA) provides a variety of services to maintain and support activities of daily living for our residents under the supervision of a Nurse. The RA is responsible for providing strong customer service, utilizing courtesy, dignity, and respect in all of the following responsibilities:
