Job summary

What You'll Do

The caregiver will help the member build basic life skills and independence, including:

• Cleaning and keeping up with household tasks
• Cooking and meal preparation
• Changing the litter box and helping care for her pets
• Overall self-care and household management
• Medication management around noon during each shift
• Enjoying shared interests such as trivia, animal and cooking shows, and time with her new puppy

About Self-Directed Services

This role is part of self-directed services, where members choose their own caregivers. Community Horizons is the service provider and works to help members stay in their homes and maintain their independence.

How Pay Works

No money is exchanged in the member's home. Caregivers are paid at $16.32 per hour through a third-party fiscal agent.
