Job summary

Senior Helpers Pasadena is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to support seniors in their homes. You will work one-on-one with clients to assist with daily activities, promote independence, and enhance quality of life.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• PCA certification training must be completed.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Change linens and make beds.
• Prepare and plan meals (including clean-up).
• Help with walking and light exercise.
• Plan ahead for future meals and check expiration dates.
• Do laundry (may include light ironing).
• Light housekeeping duties (vacuuming, dusting).
• Assist with dressing, grooming and bathing.
• Take out the trash.
• Run small errands (prescriptions, bank).
• Remind when to take medications.
• Engage in mental and physical exercises.
• Escort to appointments (doctor, therapy, salon).
• Organize mail and maintain a schedule.

Requirements
