Job summary

A center for independent living in Washington County is seeking a Direct Care Worker to assist individuals with disabilities. This role includes responsibilities such as light housekeeping, meal prep, and facilitating social activities. Flexible scheduling and paid training are offered, with pay rates between $13.15 and $13.25 per hour. Voices For Independence, a prestigious center for independent living with facilities throughout Western PA, has an immediate need for a Direct Care Worker to assist individuals with disabilities.

Duties and responsibilities of this job may include assisting people with disabilities with light housekeeping, laundry, bathing, dressing, along with meal prep & clean up. Candidates may also schedule medical appointments and facilitate social & leisure activities.

Experience working with persons with disabilities is beneficial but not required. Reliable transportation is preferred. Working some weekend days is expected.

Hours available: Find your best fit with schedules up to 40 hrs. per week available!

Pay rate: $13.15-$13.25 per hour.
