Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a caring Home Health Aide to support clients in their homes across Ohio. You will assist with daily living activities, mobility, bathing, grooming, and meal preparation, while promoting safety and independence.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient, and dependable service, with a focus on quality of life and emotional support. You will coordinate with families and schedule transportation as needed and must have an active CHHA certificate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• An active CHHA certificate in the applicable state.
• Experience caring for elderly or disabled individuals preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks
• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments when applicable
