Elara Caring is hiring a Caregiver Personal Care Aide (PCA) to support clients at home in Bedford, IN. Earn $15.50–$16.50 per hour with daily pay options and urgent hiring. Duties include bathing, grooming, mobility assistance, meal support, housekeeping and transportation as needed.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification, and compassionate, reliable character. Training and advancement opportunities are offered, with a supportive team and benefits

Qualificações

• Current CPR and First Aid certification required prior to first client contact.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing and hygiene assistance.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers and daily living activities.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform housekeeping, laundry and household tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life.
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping and transportation to appointments when applicable.
• Promote a safe, comfortable and respectful environment for each client.

As a Caregiver, you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:

• Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities

What is Required?

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Current CPR and First Aid certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required prior to first client contact
• Experience providing care to elderly or disabled individuals preferred (professional or personal experience)
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes
• Ability to lift, stand, bend, and assist clients as needed (up to 50 pounds)
