Overview

Caregiver / Personal Attendant / Direct Support Professional (DSP) — Martinez, CA

Location: Martinez, CA

Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour

Thrive Support Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Caregiver / Personal Attendant to provide compassionate care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role focuses on empowerment through helping with daily tasks and fostering independence.

Responsibilities

• Support developmentally disabled clients with daily living activities such as dressing, grooming, meal planning and preparation, and light housekeeping
• Assist with medication administration as needed
• Support community outings and activities to promote independence

Qualifications

• At least one (1) year of experience as a caregiver or in-home aide, preferably with adults with developmental disabilities
• High level of accountability and dependability
• Ability to provide hands-on care including bathing, dressing, changing etc.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid California Driver License and access to a reliable vehicle
• Must pass DOJ fingerprinting/criminal background check
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB test results
• Valid auto insurance with $100,000-$300,000 bodily injury liability
