Job summary

ComForCare seeks caring, compassionate team members to assist clients in their homes in Alexandria, VA. You will provide daily living support, personal care, mobility assistance, and companionship to help clients stay independent within their own homes.

Requirements include a high school diploma or G.E.D., CNA/HHA/PCA certification, reliable transportation, and prior caregiver experience is a bonus. Training and PPE are provided to ensure safety for staff and clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. is required.
• CNA or HHA or PCA certification required.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Previous experience as a caregiver in homes or senior communities is a bonus.

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
• Provide assistance with personal care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
• Handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
• Properly manage household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
