Job summary

John Knox @ Home is seeking caregivers to join our Home Care team in the Montgomery area. You will serve as a companion/caregiver for clients in homes, senior communities, or hospitals, delivering quality care with dignity.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, meal prep, light housekeeping, personal care, and providing engaging companionship. A high school diploma is preferred, background check and drug screening required, and a valid driver’s license with the ability to drive clients’

Qualifications

• Home assistance – Assisted clients with ADLs. Prepare meals, light housekeeping, provide personal assistance with general living needs.
• Companionship – Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging and assisting an individual.
• Requirements: High school diploma preferred; Background check and Drug Screening; valid driver’s license and ability to drive client’s car; good communication skills.

Job description

John Knox @ Home is looking for caregivers to join our Home Care team. Persons will be a companion/caregiver for one of our clients located throughout the river region. These caregivers must be experienced in giving quality care to our clients. Service may be in clients home, in a senior community or a hospital. We are not sitters, we are caregivers. If you are able to come to the office, feel free to come see us. Tuesday - Friday 8:30 - 4:00pm or you may call us at 334-284-0007.

• Home assistance – Assisted clients with ADL's. Prepare meals, light housekeeping, provide personal assistance with general living needs. Personal services could include toileting, bathing, feeding and grooming.

• Companionship – Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging and assisting an individual.

Requirements:

• High school diploma preferred.
• Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report and Drug Screening.
• Must have valid driver's license and be able to drive clients car.
• Good communication skills and able to converse with client.
