Job summary

Chrysalis seeks a part-time Caregiver to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Carbon County area. You will care for clients in their own homes and participate in community activities to help them be more independent, have fun, and build relationships.

Typical duties include teaching basic cooking, budgeting, modeling positive behavior, and joining outings to the movies, bowling, and events.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
• No prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is necessary; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Teach an individual how to cook a meal
• Aid in budgeting and planning
• Model appropriate behaviors
• Attend community activities such as movies, bowling, parades
• Help individuals stay physically active and exercise
